The Gear Department has been the first department which was build in Hispano-Suiza Polska. Gear production and department range has been increasing each year. In 2007 production level reached 12 thousand gears.

Currently the department is specializing in the production of:

• Spur gears
• Helix gears
• Components for gears

Those parts are assembled in the engines:

• CFM 56 (-3, -5, -7) – CFM International (Snecma/General Electric),
• TRENT 500, 700, 800 - Rolls-Royce
• BR 710 – Rolls-Royce

Which equip the Boeing 737, B 777, Airbus A 318, A319, A320, A321, A 340, A 330, Bombardier Global 5000, Gulfstream G 500, Bombardier Global Express as well as helicopters: Lynx-Auguso Westland.
